teleNetwork has achieved HSPD– 12 compliance within its Managed Services help desk operation
AUSTIN Oct. 10, 2006 – teleNetwork, a leading provider of outsourced technical support services and help desk solutions, today announced that it has achieved Homeland Security Presidential Directive – 12 compliance within it’s Managed Services help desk operation.
HSPD-12 enables teleNetwork to serve clients who require call center services that comply with the Federal Government’s policy for a common identification standard for Federal employees and contractors.
“By reaching HSPD-12 compliance before the October 27, 2006 deadline, we have demonstrated our commitment to our current clients who employ personnel and contractors who work on Federal Government engagements. HSPD-12 was signed in August 2004 to address the threat of unauthorized access to physical facilities and logical IT assets. The primary objectives are the development and deployment of a Federal Government-wide common and reliable identification verification system that will be interoperable among all US government agencies and serve as the basis for reciprocity between those agencies.
